Delete your Claimitt account

You can start and finish account deletion inside Claimitt. Support contact is not required.

How to delete

  1. Sign in and open Settings → Data & Privacy.
  2. Review store subscription billing, creator-payment recovery, and the retention summary.
  3. Choose deletion now or, when eligible, deletion at the end of the paid subscription period.
  4. Type DELETE MY ACCOUNT and confirm.

What is erased

Claimitt deletes account credentials and identifiers, private messages and settings, notifications, push registrations, saved locations, and authored UGC. Where removing a database row would also destroy another person's reply or an integrity relationship, the authored text and links are irreversibly replaced with a shared deleted-content tombstone. Uploaded media is made private immediately and queued for deletion of the original and delivery derivative.

Narrow retention exceptions

A resource is retained only when it has an active legal or safety hold, proves a paid media licence, or is a tax/payment record needed for a defined obligation. Claimitt records the category, reason code, and review or expiry date. Published content or a generic “public record” label is not by itself a reason to retain your UGC.

Apple and Google subscriptions

Deleting Claimitt does not cancel a subscription billed by Apple or Google. The in-app Manage Subscription button opens the store's system subscription screen. Immediate account deletion remains available after a clear billing acknowledgement. Deletion at subscription expiry is scheduled only after Claimitt's server observes that auto-renewal is disabled and has a provider period-end date.

Timing and payment recovery

Account access is removed during immediate deletion. Storage byte removal can complete asynchronously after the account closes. A pending creator-media checkout is first canceled, expired, or refunded against Stripe; a settled seller payout obligation is preserved rather than silently discarded. These checks can briefly delay finalization, and retrying is safe.
